Ford gets OJ’d

Seen at the KNS, The Tennessee Republican Party darkened an image of Harold Ford, Jr. Kinda lame. They also allegedly used code words. Though I’ve opined that I didn’t think Tennessee would elect a black senator, I haven’t seen race made much an issue until now. I’m disappointed it has now shown it’s ugly face.

If it’s in the KNS it must be true.

I think it’s interesting that Ford’s defenders are insisting that he is whiter than the photo makes him appear. Why should that matter?

I thought (and still believe) that the color of one’s skin shouldn’t matter, including with respect to government contracts, college admission, etc.

I guess that Ford thinks differently.

It’s funny that I remember when Harold’s father told a caucasian Baptist Hospital employee, who was having his car towed for parking in front of the hospital (where there were more “No Parking” than “Baptist Hospital” signs) to get a presription filled, “I ain’t lettin’ no white boy tell me where to park.”

The RNC needs a complete house cleaning. Completely unacceptable behavior.

    Really?

You should go look at the “Fancy Ford” website. It’s been online since March — the NRSC has been race-baiting Ford on these grounds for some time now.

The folks trying to “make race an issue” are the Democrats, who still can’t fathom why any Tennessean wouldn’t vote for Harold Ford, Jr. If the Democrats lose this senate race, maybe, just maybe, it is for some reason other than the color of Ford’s skin.

The accusations seem based on some mighty thin evidence.

I agree with Ned that it seems to me that the Dems are the ones interjecting race into the mix…could it be that they are hoping for exactly the reaction that Say Uncle expressed?

What is outrageous to me is that people will so quickly condemn based upon such unproven (and, in my opinion, unfounded) accusations.

Hey, I think Say Uncle used a Code Word in his post. He said that race was rearing its ugly face. I think he’s calling black people ugly. SAY UNCLE IS A RACIST…CRUCIFY HIM!!!!!

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
