The African Elephant in the Room

There are plenty of reasons for me not to vote for Ford but this ain’t one of them.

Let’s go ahead and tackle this now (on Friday, late, when no one is looking): Can a black man win the Senatorial race in Tennessee?

I hate to say it but I think the answer is no.

Ford would have a chance, if his last name wasn’t Ford.

Ford would be great if he wasn’t an ally of the consummate globalist insider Bill Clinton and Senator Hillary Clinton. Speaking of whom, Hillary Clinton was only one of 16 senators who voted FOR gun confiscation tyranny from law-abiding senators. That tyranny was also voed down in the House 322-99 with 11 not voting–including Ford. So how does he stand on confiscating weapons from law-abiding citizens during declared emergencies–just when they’re needed most??

Also, how does Harold Ford stand on the secretive Council on Foreign Relations plan for a North American Union–apparently favored by Bush and almost certainly by Bill Clinton, who regurgitated his usual globalist propaganda at last night’s pro-Ford rally.

I’m looking for a senator who will represent the interests of the “free state” of Tennessee and obey the wording of the Constitution…NOT the interests of a political party or an adminsitration in the White House!

I’m afraid I agree with you, Uncle. He’d have a hard enough time if his name weren’t Ford. Color + Baggage + Redneck State = Ford Loss.

I’m a pro-choice liberal, so I’ve got little choice but to hold my nose and pull the lever for Ford, but he’ll be lucky to get much support anywhere East of Nashville (if even that far East).

As a side note, I thought from the title that this was going to have something to do with Colbert’s recent Wikipedia shenanigans.

  6. SayUncle » Ford gets OJ’d Says:

[…] Seen at the KNS, The Tennessee Republican Party darkened an image of Harold Ford, Jr. Kinda lame. They also allegedly used code words. Though I’ve opined that I didn’t think Tennessee would elect a black senator, I haven’t seen race made much an issue until now. I’m disappointed it has now shown it’s ugly face. […]

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
