Something you don’t see every day

Heading into the office this morning, I saw a news crew on the side of the road and glanced. They were interviewing an elderly black fellow who was carrying a large Confederate Flag (which means he’s racist).

I think it was that local black Confederate guy.

Update: Bubba grabbed a picture. And links to background info.

My father in law’s SCV camp has quite a few black members.

He keeps trying to get me to join – but I keep resisting. Mostly because I work in DC and it would be the death of my professional career, but also because I am from a Yankee state (and a liberal screwed up one at that) and had no family here during the war.

I thought it was strange that the SCV would allow me to join even though I am not a son – but rather a son in law (as well as the father of a son) – but chalked it up to declining enrollment

Maybe they were filming a Dave Chappelle bit.

Same guy was in Memphis not long ago, doing something similar.

And his hoisting a Confederate flag doesn’t make him a racist, it makes him an idiot.

Next thing you know, those damned leftists are going to try and claim that burning crosses makes one a racist, too…

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
