Happy Independence Day

I’m at an unsecured, undisclosed location that has a nice beach and adult beverages. Happy 4th. Irregularly scheduled blogging to resume in a few days.

Talk amongst yourselves.

    “And yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe–the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state but from the hand of God. We dare not forget today that we are the heirs of that first revolution.”–John F. Kennedy, Jan 20, 1961

    (The socialists and communists in today’s Democratic Party would be aghast)

    God Bless the Republic–Long Live the Revolution!

    One year you said; “Happy shoot a tyrant in the face day.” or some such. Heh.

    Today I’m at my “compound” (the home of a gun owner. Also see “bunker”) working on my “arsenal” (any number of guns exceeding one, e.g. two) and tidying up my “stockpile” (any amount exceeding one box of 20 rounds) of ammunition so that it can then be “cached” (storage on a shelf or in a closet, etc., as pertaining to guns or ammunition).

    So let’s put it all together in leftist, anti-American-agitator-media-speak;

    “I’m in my bunker, on my compound, fondling my arsenal, stockpiling and caching ammunition, and modifying my guns to make them more deadly.”

    Translation; I’m putting away some cartridge boxes and cases and various fiddly bits by way of tidying up the house. And I plan on working over a repro Colt’s Dragoon revolver so it fits together right (because the Italian maker, trying to make a price point because that’s where the volume is, can’t be bothered with such trivial details as fit and function).

    Happy 4th of July! 🙂

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
