No, you can’t volunteer

Man who voluntarily mows the lawns for veterans because the government won’t has been ordered by cops not to. Key bit: The officer told him news stories showing the Mall in disrepair would help government employees get back to work with full pay

This is a case for civil disobedience if ever there was one. Even if the cops were stupid enough to arrest him, and a federal prosecutor was stupid enough to pursue it there’s no jury in Amerika that would convict.

And we get the story from England and not from iBambi’s lickspittle MFM. Some “press” does not deserve the First Amendment.

  3. RG Says:

Right, because only government employees know how to operate the lawnmower.

  4. mikee Says:

The novel forms of civil disobedience during this shutdown are matched only by the petty, idiotic choices of the administration in trying to cause problems for citizens. And I think the civil disobedience citizens are winning.

Is there a DC memorial or museum lunch counter I can plop myself down at, and demand service from a surly furloughed government employee?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
