A fair point. But I’d say they’re handy for varmints and the occasional riot. Not that I see much of the latter but the former, yup.

That presumes you CAN just drive away. BEST choice if you have that option. If you vehicle is blocked in or disabled, hmmm, not so much an option.
Being as I’ve sat MOTIONLESS for over an hour in heavy traffic before (and it wasn’t THAT unusual a situation in that location, season, and time of day). Now what happens when two morons with hot temnpers and low impulse control end up being the seed crystals of a flash riot?

Trunk gun… well here ’bouts we tend to have truck guns… often ARs… to hold of those gangs of thugs we encounter… better known as groundhogs… 69 grain, boat-tail hollow-points seem to work for me…
