Primarying Alexander
Not sure why, but there’s a lot of talk locally about doing that. Seems he votes more with Obama than against and the Tea Party folks are not fans. Joe Carr looks to be trying. And there’s talk Tim Burchett may try as well.
Well, when it comes to voting the bums out, you have to start with your own bum.

I don’t see Burchett challenging Alexander. I would be behind him if he did, of course, but I just don’t see it.
That Carr fellow, I am backing over Alexander already and I don’t know jack about him yet.

Excellent point. Congressional approval rating as a whole has been in the teens for ages, but every 2 years when they take the poll that counts, approval rating for individual sitting members of congress is almost always >50% among their constituents who show up to express an opinion. It’s as if everybody everywhere thinks the problem is everybody else’s representative/senator.

He’s still alive and in the Senate?
