  2. Ellen Says:

Dinosaur, dinosaur, dinosaur! By Jove, I’m still politically incorrect enough to say brontosaurus instead of apatosaurus.

  3. HL Says:

Right off the dick, the story starts with:

Fearing that certain words and topics can make students feel unpleasant

Is this the opening shot in “The War on Unpleasantries”?

  4. Bubblehead Les Says:

I’d support this if “MAIG,” “BLOOMBURG,” “PROGRESSIVE,” and “HILLARY” were on the List.

  5. JKB Says:

Uh oh, somebody’s been watching Full Metal Jacket….This is may weapon, this is my gun…

    HL,

Survey says top answer for certain words and topics that can make make students feel unpleasant is…..Algebra

BTW, is that usage right? Can you feel unpleasant?

    “I feel unpleasant.”
“Oh, you are unpleasant, very unpleasant to be around.”

  6. Disavowed With Honor Says:

I noticed “Go F**K yourself” isn’t on the list. Can they say that in school? I wonder how unpleasant someone would feel hearing that from a third grader. 😉

  7. Stretch Says:

    New Speak.
For us “1984” was a novel.
    For others a training manual.

  8. chris Says:

No list of banned words is complete without “hope” and “change”.

I would also add “white hispanic”.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
