Because we don’t base law on the emotional reactions of freaked out victims

That is the correct answer but Sen. Kelly Ayotte handled it well enough:

    Good for her!

  2. Brian Says:

Are these people seriously this severely misinformed or do they simply refuse to acknowledge that most of these mass shooting victims could have been spared if someone had met the bad guy with lethal force? There have been numerous incidents where armed citizens have kept senseless violence from becoming mass senseless violence. But none of the lawmakers or news orgs ever talk about it.

  3. PhD Too Says:

“I understand that you are hurting, but it is inappropriate to lash out in pain and anger and collectively punish millions of law abiding gun owners.”

  4. Mr Evilwrench Says:

Well, Brian, when you stop a mass shooting early on, that’s good but it’s now not a mass shooting, and you won’t hear about it for that very reason.

  5. Kristophr Says:

Brian: They have been rewarded with attention by gun grabbers, and encouraged to follow this delusional path.

We all know that background checks will not close the shoot-your-relative-in-the-face-and-steal-her-rifle loophole, but the blood dancers have gotten to her and fed her a bunch of lies.

No amount of logic will get someone out of a position that logic did not get them into.

  6. Patrick H Says:

Perfect response, both by her and by you. Ayotte brings up it: “We both know that the issue at Sandy Hook wasn’t background checks.”

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
