Obama told the TCU team that he, too, practiced shooting with a rifle. “He said he practiced with the Secret Service,” said Riford, who graduated from TCU in May and now works in Fort Worth.

There is, in fact, a smallbore range at Obama’s high school. They put on some good matches, too. Could we get him to release his scores?
I’d expect him to be an enthusiastic plinker. After all, Saddam Hussein practiced with his guards, too. Being a shooter (okay, he’s lying) does not make one a proponent of American firearms rights: China sent a team to the world championships, ISSF and the NRA just barely speak, and some of the USAS founders were True Citizens of The World.
Dog biting man, it would have been really newsworthy if the NCAA rifle champions were excluded from this event. And it would not have been mentioned. So there is that.

Still it is significant that a shooting team was invited to the White House, even if they were the first all female championship team. Even more that a Democrat president would spend more then a cursory amount of time to interact with them. Much less, actually admit to having touched a gun.
Somewhere there is a Code Pinker crying. Not to mention the Brady bunch.

Sure he does.
In fact, it was not a Seal sniper that took out that pirate, it was Obama himself. But, he was too noble to claim credit.
Humility keeps him from adding that he actually gave the Secret Service a few pointers on combat shooting, and will soon be rewriting official HRT doctrine.
He is also the smartest man in America, and he cares about the little people. And he is the best steward for the delicate environment.
Given all of this, he really deserves a Nobel Prize. Oh, wait…

You guys here Obama want’s to rename the “Bush Tax Cuts” the “Obama tax cuts” cause they are extending them on his watch?
Well when he says he ‘shot with the SS guys’, I bet he maybe observed a few shots but come on, look at him, you know he would be scared to even hold the things.
Reminds me of a rich guy (got some money from his deceased grandmother) I worked with. He wanted me to sight in his 30/30. Yea he was afraid of it’s kick.
That’s like Obama. I can just tell he is cut from the same cloth as that guy.

He’s full of crap. If you anti-gun, which he is, if it is not due to being a collectivist anti-freedom POS it is due to an deeply rooted irrational fear which is very difficult to get over without some horrible event happening to them that makes them reconsider. But obama is a far left collectivist who hate what America is and what its supposed to stand for as much as the muslims. If he wasn’t why is he trying so damn hard to destroy the country?
That and if dick cheney shot his freind in the face and he knows what he’s doing…

If I were President… I wonder how foreign dignitaries and guests would react to having to meet me on the Secret Service training range, since I’d probably be there *constantly*. Just install a desk out front guys, it’d be easier.
