After seeing the trailer, I have little hope for that movie. It looks like they’ve turned the Green Hornet (you know, the main character) into an incompetent clown. Not encouraging.
Kevin Smith was set to direct this but left the project. As a general observation about Hollywood and firearms it applies. As soon as I heard Seth Rogen was starring as the Hornet I knew the fans were boned.
Seth Rogan, WTF?? With no Bruce Lee maybe it should be Seth and Jackie Chan.
Watching the trailer the DeuceDeagleizer doesn’t even emit fire from the muzzle before a car flips over, on fire.
What, no sights…not even a gold bead for the Double Deagle? Cup and saucer grip, must be a recoiless bit of magic…maybe the alternating motions of the twin slides offsets felt recoil.
You guys keep putting this thing down, and I don’t think you’re paying attention. Look in the background of the photo. He f’n blew up a f’n buldozer with that thing!!!!
George, you’re right, “The Day the Music Died” wasn’t about JFK being shot (that makes no sense), it was about the plane crash that killed Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, and “The Big Bopper.”
How anyone would equate music dying to either JFK or Bruce Lee is beyond me.

Only a east coast hippie like Kevin Smith would want to stick 2 desert eagles together… how the hell does it feed?

We must alert Bloomberg immediatly!

The dreaded Double Deagle!
It’s twice as Ultimate!
July 7th, 2010 at 12:55 pm
The’day the music died’ was not when JFK was shot, it was when Bruce Lee died.
July 7th, 2010 at 1:04 pm
I wonder if it fires more than one bullet per trigger pull…
July 7th, 2010 at 1:19 pm
Maybe one barrel shoot normal rounds and the other shoots homing bullets. Or one shoots ,45 colt and the other .410

How could Crimson Trace miss this opportunity to promote their products on the big screen? TWO red dots would be much more intimidating than one!
And would not Viridian want to promote their GREEN lasers in the GREEN Hornet movie?
I offer these companies these ideas for free – this time. Next time, I charge them out their wazoos.

And George, the double take you caused my brain to take with Bruce Lee and the day the music died was priceless.
July 7th, 2010 at 2:06 pm
Isn’t that the new Glock Gen5 pistol design?

“soon”? i already want one! (those are paintball guns, judging by the caliber, correct?)

Race gun guys will want one, maybe on an STI platform, one round from each, think of the stage times!
A new category, call it single stack doubled…

Lemme see your 1911 do THAT!!!!
July 7th, 2010 at 5:58 pm
Maybe that’s the Green Hornet’s “gas gun” and “electric shock gun” together in one?
If it’s not meant to be a cartridge firearm, it’s fine (as a movie prop, that is – it’s still ridiculously unwieldy).
July 7th, 2010 at 6:08 pm
You mean “Soon, internet fanbois will claim they owned that model for a couple years already.”
July 7th, 2010 at 6:48 pm
I want the extendable wand that makes people do whatever you want them to.

Got a PTA meeting, tonight, and sure could use it. 😉

Dumbest thing I’ve ever seen I think.

And I thought those itty, bitty .380’s kicked a bit. Silly me.

Not actually a new design. I’ve seen an old custom black powder pistol with 3 barrels.
1. Straight down the center
2. Angled to the left
3. Angled to the right.
One trigger pull set off all 3 charges.
July 8th, 2010 at 2:23 am
I so want one!!!!!

I’ve seen an old custom black powder pistol with 3 barrels.
Duckfoot it was called, intended to quell mutinies on ships.

Silly thing, kind of like the blunderbuss, but like the blunderbuss it looked scary.
July 8th, 2010 at 5:18 am
Do they make a .22LR conversion for this?
I guess an IWB holster is out…
🙂
July 8th, 2010 at 7:43 am
I would point out I am amazed it took 27 comments before someone said the stereotypical “Do they make a .22LR conversion for this?”.

Dumbest thing I ever saw. That is a one shot weapon. One shot, and you don’t shoot again.
