Daley to Supreme Court: WAAAHHHHH!!

Someone needs a wet-nap:

Why can’t I go to the Supreme Court and sit there with a gun and listen to the arguments? If a gun is so important to us on the street or someone’s home, why can’t I go to the Supreme Court and sit there with a gun? I’m not gonna shoot anyone. But, I have a right to that gun

Because it’s still illegal to carry in DC? And the court is US government property. And once more, with feeling:

There’s a reality, but also there should be passion and common sense. We assassinated President John F. Kennedy. We assassinated Martin Luther King. And we assassinated Robert F. Kennedy — and we’re proud of that. That’s the answer to problems with a gun. That is not,” Daley said, again ladling on the sarcasm.

Well, you’ve been busy.

“When a child gets shot or killed, that is a failure of society. Adults should stand up and say, guns don’t solve things in homes or streets. If it was, then everyone here would be carrying a gun in our own corporations.

Because no one gets shot in Chicago.

“If a gun is so important to us on the street or someone’s home, . . ”

Than Daly wouldn’t mind wandering around Chicago without a squad of cops around him. Really, this guy sits in his home with 24 hour armed security moments away, and then sarcastically says that guns don’t solve things in homes or streets.

  2. Paul Says:

“We assassinated President John F. Kennedy. We assassinated Martin Luther King. And we assassinated Robert F. Kennedy”

What is that ‘we’? I sure don’t remember assassinating anyone?

Children killed with guns? What about swimmingpools? More drown in family swimmingpools than are killed with guns.

But then, what do facts matter with liberals. Didn’t matter with Global Warming, so why guns!

  3. Sebastiantheguywithnoblog Says:

If your last name is Daley, you’re really not in a position to be lecturing anyone about violence. Pop Daley was no stranger to using armed thugs to get what he wanted.

  4. Rustmeister Says:

I knew it was him on the grassy knoll.

  5. DirtCrashr Says:

And no one gets shot in Chicago because the handgun ban is so effective.

  6. anon Says:

    Obligatory: “It’s the ‘Royal’ ‘We’.”

It’s the first time I have agreed with Daley, “Why can’t I go to the Supreme Court and sit there with a gun and listen to the arguments? If a gun is so important to us on the street or someone’s home, why can’t I go to the Supreme Court and sit there with a gun? I’m not gonna shoot anyone. But, I have a right to that gun,” Daley said

Too bad there was sarcasm associated with it…

So lets do this, lets go ahead and apply all the rules he has helped subject the City of Chicago to, to himself, no bodyguards, no guns.

Lastly, did anyone else notice the SunTimes and Trib both have posts a mile long all in support of bringing this ban down?

  8. Shootin' Buddy Says:

If a child gets shot, that’s a failure of Chicago and Chicago alone.

  9. John Smith Says:

Actually it is mayor dalely’s fault for anyone who is shot in chicago. When you start changing the laws of the city you live in the consequences of these laws become your fault. Good or bad. Our Congressmen are yet to realize this fact. Like when they were trying to find someone to blame for 911. They tried everything but in the end it was hard to hide the fact that our lawmakers were at fault.(It is the governments sole job to ensure the safety of its citizens.) If you make and advocate laws it is your fault if they work or do not work. Period!!! There are consequences to everything that we do there is no way around it.

    Great point CTone:

“Then Daly wouldn’t mind wandering around Chicago without a squad of cops around him. Really, this guy sits in his home with 24 hour armed security moments away, and then sarcastically says that guns don’t solve things in homes or streets.”

Oh sure, let’s see this elite ruling class guy get rid of his armed protection and lead by example….NOT, but he enforces unarmed victimhood on others….by guns, of course.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
