Making gun owners a protected class
This strikes me more as something our opposition would do than my team.

Jury finds man guilty of jury tampering after passing out juror rights pamphlets. This is absolutely ridiculous. I expect this behavior from prosecutors and judges. But I’d never thought a jury would convict.
The Olympic Arms OA-98. Someone I know, at the time those came out, worked for a .gov agency that would have need for something like that. So, I got to play with it once. It was a loud little gun.
Katie Couric did some bogus gun documentary in which she used selective editing to make gun rights supporters look like they had no answer to a question. Well, VCDL sued her for libel over it. And they did not win:
A judge concludes that a scene where gun rights advocates were shown in silence to a question was neither false nor carried any harmful implication.
The scene was absolutely false. But, under libel law, they still didn’t have a real case.
The 72 Types of Americans Considered Potential Terrorists. Hmm. One group, oddly, is missing from that list.
This is a 9mm carbine made out of Sten MkIII parts, AK parts, a chunk of tubing, and a crappy suppressor made out of the rear strut tube from a Jeep Cherokee, fender washers, and window screening. Just because.
My Carry Gun Is Outdated and Weird. My first handgun was a 6903. I liked it a lot. But then I got a Sig.
Trump’s lawyers are asking SCOTUS to reject the second amendment claim of non violent felons, who committed their crimes 20 years ago:
But the Justice Department under Trump has embraced the same position in this case that was adopted under President Obama: to defend strict enforcement of a long-standing federal law that bars convicted criminals from ever owning a gun, even when their crimes did not involve violence.
I’m not a fan of this move by the Justice Department.
I agree. The NRA should be single issue. Advancing positions on other issues may scare away people who are otherwise sympathetic to the cause.
The Brady Campaign to Cling to Relevancy is calling the national reciprocity bill the Zimmerman Bill.
I’ve really been enjoying Greg Ellifritz’s series called the Weekend Knowledge Dump. Go there and get some clue.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
