Hysteria

This just in: Pictures of guns are dangerous as is gun-themed interior decor. And by dangerous, I mean merely cause fits in hoplophobic bed-wetters.

“Pistol designs stitched on pillows, gun-shaped soaps and lamps built on a fake AK-47…Now, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, but a gun is a deadly weapon–for man and beast–and no one who lives above the Mason-Dixon line or has a passing acquaintance with Freud can dismiss–or disguise–that reality.”

A pillow with an image of a gun stitched in is a deadly weapon? ( I guess it could be used to smother someone). A piece of plastic, metal or wood shaped to resemble an AK-47 and turned into a lamp is a deadly weapon? (blunt force trauma maybe, but a lamp shaped like a lamp will do that too).

This guy is not just a hoplophobe, he’s a lunatic.

Perhaps he thinks that the kids beds shaped like race cars will enable four year olds to go speeding dangerously through neighborhoods as well?

“But for the sake of argument, let’s test that theory: shoot a water pistol and see if you get the same result.”

Water pistols don’t get people wet. People get people wet. Remember the rules: Water pistols are always to be treated like they are loaded. Never point a water pistol at anything you don’t want to get wet. etc.

    Sorry about that…couldn’t help it.

I agree: lets test the theory. Lets place a loaded .454 Casull and a loaded water pistol on the table next to each other and see which one shoots an innocent passerby first. Make sure you have plenty of time for this experiment cause you’ll be waiting for a while.

[…] Rustmeister fisks the bit I mentioned here where bed-wetter Fern Siegel proves he’s ignorant, hysterical or about as smart as a box of rocks. […]

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
