I suppose this Hellfire adaptation has a longer range than the 250 pound concrete smart bombs employed in the Iraq War to take out indidual vehicles, including tanks?
It depends on the aircraft speed, attitude (drop, toss or loft) and altitude (slant range) at time of release/launch.
The Hellfire adaptation is a good one for aircraft that are not set up for GBUs. Minimizes logistics for those that normally carry Hellfires.
The Pentagon waste so much money on toys when cheaper solutions using physics would do better.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
