Knoxville has been going slowly commie for years

There will soon no longer be gun shows on city owned properties.

Oh well. Commies have to commie. I’d call them scum, but that’s an insult to actual scum, which is a functional part of the ecosystem.

  2. JTC Says:

It ain’t commie as long as it is enforced across the board; no private for-profit events in public spaces, there are private venues for that.

But wait until they find out what that costs the public till. Good thing is they would cut way back on pissing away taxpayer money to build monuments to themselves when they find out their favored private groups will no longer be subsidized with public money.

Stadiums, arenas, etc.? Pay to play baby.

Dammit. Pardon the double-tap. Worth saying twice though.

  5. Dave Says:

When have leftists ever enforced anything evenly and across the board, is the question I would ask. Those of us with different ideals can expect to run afoul of them sooner or later.

Unc, please excuse me for repeating my advice about how not to feed the Knoxville Beast:

When traveling I-40 corridor near Knoxville, be sure to ALWAYS use the I-640 bypass, so as to nearly avoid this city. Don’t buy food or fuel or spend your money in or near Knoxville in any way. That’s been my rule for many a trip thru there. Tell your trucker friends, too.

[Update: of course, my sympathies for those who have to live and/or work there, and have no other recourse]

FYI, Knoxville City Police ‘Highwaymen’ monitor local Interstates. Watch for them beneath overpasses. Keep an eye out for KPD Blue Hawks (motorcycle cops). They patrol regularly and can be hard to spot in traffic.
“This city is into any way they can get money out of a citizen. They try to catch petty wrongs but make major catch of money just another bureaucratic way to drain citizen’s wallets.”

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
