I’d rather run that the other way: extend tax exempt status to everything and everyone. Remember: the power to tax is the power to destroy. Which one could reasonably infer is exactly why these poor excuses for human beings are advocating being able to tax the NRA.

Well yeah that’d be nice to pay nothing to live in the best place on earth but not too practical; even limiting gov to its enumerated powers and responsibilities costs something. Referencing a recent post of Uncs on taxation and my comment there, anyone and everyone here should be willing, happy and anxious to contribute ten percent of their gross product to keep the place to ourselves and the lights on, and zero dodges would make that work. I would happily pay my share at that rate. You?
