First rule of a gun fight

Have a gun: I Didn’t Have a Gun on Me, But I Wish I Did

    Yeah, we’ve been saying that.

    But, converting them by first-hand experience is a slow and messy -if very effective- process.

    If only there were some sort of member driven and funded educational gun rights advocacy organization out there.

    We know the retort;
    “Well if you’d had a gun she’d only have taken it from you and used it against you, you sick NRA pervert!”

    But how often does a would-be victim in these situations take the perpetrator’s gun away and use it against her?

    I have seen it done. Once. Sort of. A guy in Lewiston, Idaho years ago tried to hold up a gas station by holding a shotgun in the clerk’s face. The clerk, God bless her and her family, snatched it from him in a millisecond, and then he did one of those comical, cartoon peel-outs with his feet, clawing for traction, trying for his life to get the fuck out of there. It was all caught, beautifully, on surveillance video. I guess the perp had watched too much television– They always stick the gun in the other guy’s face, in easy snatching distance, whereupon the victim goes limp and submits to all demands. Of course in that particular situation the perp wasn’t there to kill, but to control one person through intimidation– VERY different.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
