Interesting

Seems the title of CEO is not mentioned in NRA’s bylaws. And that would be LaPierre’s position. Anyone know the deal on this?

Maybe I’m off-base, but this sounds like a distinction without a difference.

The way NRA is structured, the “Executive Vice President” is, in fact, the Chief Executive Officer of the organization.

Given the context in which it appears to have been used (in media headlines and on tax paperwork), it seems to be a case of using a common descriptor to explain how Wayne fits into the organizational structure of the NRA.

Of all the things wrong with the NRA, this seems pretty low on the list.

I always thought he was an EVP too, never heard him called CEO.
