But there are fewer gun owners!

NICS checks for the year are down from last year, when everyone expected Clinton to win.

Lord knows, Timmah did his part.

If you look, though, 2017 was the second highest year *EVER*, significantly higher than the 3rd highest year by about 2.1 million more checks, and 2017 was higher by about 4.2 million over the post-Sandy Hook panic buying year of 2013.

Hillary Clinton floated the “Australian-style” mandatory buy back scheme by which previously purchased and legally owned semi-auto guns would be CONFISCATED from those who refused to relinquish them. So she planned to TAKE what was bought!! Of course, such an “ex post facto” law is expressly forbidden by the Constitution. But when it comes to citizen disbarment, it’s to be done and criminally BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY even though she has accused Trump of violating “the rule of law”.

Coming on the heels of unprecedented stockpiling of tools by the private militia, even a comparative reduction still represents some yuge numbers.

But the ongoing but temporary Trump Slump Dump that has manufacturers and wholesalers clearing out the pipelines via sub-cost prices is responsible for maintaining a lot of that volume.

That won’t last though and when it’s done prices will return to a more normal supply/demand/profit range and the shakeout will really kick in esp. among the opportunists in the supply chain who won’t make it without the false inflation of threats of seizure, etc.

So today’s lesson is, buy what you want or need now!

NICS checks are down in Minnesota in part due to them not being required now if you have a carry permit.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
