Shooting through a window
From NewsChannel4’s report on an officer involved shooting:
The officer retrieves an AR-15 and fires, while driving, through his windshield. I’m sure that led to some hearing damage.

Awesome video! I saw training videos where people shoot through the windshields but this is the first time I see it in real gunfight.

Whatta wannabe Rambo retard! It would’ve served his dumb ass right if one of those weak rounds ricocheted off the windshield into his face.
And, as wizard pointed out, what if there’d been other cars beyond the one the cop was praying and spraying at?

Like I said on youtube, if you want to shoot through your front windshield, get a firing port installed. That way you save your hearing and get lots better accuracy.
Otherwise, just a) open the car door and lean outside, or b) turn the car 30 degrees (if you stop) and fire. Or c) just wait till a better, safer, opportunity.
