Only the government should have guns

The US lost hundreds of thousands of guns in Iraq and Afghanistan.

And lots of them were actual ASSAULT RIFLES… sigh…

  2. JTC Says:

Thanks to us, the Soviets and a couple centuries of tribal war, what do you bet the gun-to-peep ratio in those places makes our one-to-one look like TPWGBUTB?

Wonder why you don’t hear the antis wailing about that? Oh, right…speaking of peeps.

  3. Ron W Says:

@Old NFO, it’s just part of the price to “fight them over there so we don’t have to fight them here”… THEY SAY.

This is the same government that wants to track every one of yours and mine, right?

  7. Ron W Says:

@rickn8or, why yes it is, even though it has NO delegated powers to do so and is specifically forbidden to do so according to “the Supreme Law of the Land”.

  8. Sigivald Says:

United States has handed out a vast but persistently uncountable quantity of military firearms to its many battlefield partners in Afghanistan and Iraq. Today the Pentagon has only a partial idea of how many weapons it issued, much less where these weapons are.

Yeah, because when the Iraqi Army or Afghan Army has someone sell them off or steal them it’s the US Army’s fault because reasons.

    Thanks, The New York Times.

(Omnipresent AK-pattern rifles? Doesn’t count, not “our fault”. Those evil M4s will ensure Iraq Is Never Peaceful, but not the AKs.)

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
