What do the Glock, AR, 1911 and 10/22 have in common?

You can basically build them all without ever buying an original part from a the original manufacturer. Tune up your Glock. I think we may some day see the other guns become like this.

My buddy always call the AR, “The Chevy small-block of guns”.

I kinda want to make a no-Ruger-parts 10/22 just to be weird.

Pity the only receiver options seem to be “fancy and expensive”.

(A Franken-AR is so commonplace as to be boring.)

All 4 are also readily available as 80% receivers.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
