Investigating a myth

Remember that gun disguised as a phone that someone invented yet none actually exist? Leave it to Chuck Scummier* to hyperventilate.

* Auto correct did that spelling. I kind of liked it.

Did that story about the gun post on April 1st? 🙂
Always nice to see Chuckie get his undies in a twist.

I thought it was Chuck D-bag. Ooops my bad.

I have a baaaad feeling about this.

How many time in the last few years have you heard of some ‘peace officer’ blatantly violating someone’s rights (usually without penalty) because they were filming them in the act of committing some other violation by uttering the specious claim that they ‘thought the object in their hand was a gun’.

SOMEbody just provided those types carte blanche…

I take a schumer most mornings. Remember boys and girls to always wash your hands after.

It’s all a panic over nothing. There is NO practical difference between a conventional firearm concealed in a holster (or a pocket, hopefully with a pocket holster), and a firearm that is “concealed in plain sight” because it doesn’t LOOK like a firearm.

Either the person with the concealed firearm is a criminal, or he isn’t. Frankly, since these things will likely be declared AOW (if they are even produced at all) there will be background checks galore and tax stamps and all sorts of BS hoops to jump through. It is very unlikely Joe Criminal is going to be able to get his hands on one. An AOW isn’t something that routinely gets straw purchased. Far too many hoops for that.

It would be much more realistic when a cop sees one of these things “in the wild” for him to assume that the citizen ISN’T a criminal than to assume he is one.

I think that an AOW has to be “fireable” in its disguised state.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
