Sighting in a laser sight

Three methods.

I’ve always just sighted mine in at ten yards and figured that was good enough for MOA*. That is, the method referred to as Spot On. Thoughts?

For pistol I like to keep a vertical offset and minimize it. I set the laser to co-witness the sight at about 7m. That should keep it within the extent of the larger organs out as far as I ever expect any accuracy. I’m cogitating on a new design myself currently.

I’m with you in thinking MOA is good enough. A laser dot the size of a pencil eraser is not a long range sight to me…..

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
