In Paris
A bunch of jihadists decided to commit an act of terror with guns and explosives last night. Not sure what France will do about this but I’m sure they’re reconsidering that immigration policy.
ISIS claimed responsibility, which is unpossible since we have contained them.
And Moms Demand Whatever refers to the terrorist attack as a mass shooting.

I propose we send all the Mom’s Demand groups to the Middle East and encourage them to develop and implement gun control proposals that work there.

Well perhaps our government should do the same, what should have been done on Sept 12, 2001–at the latest. Do the basic Constututional duty to “protect the States against invasion” . STOP LETTING THEM IN!!!

Unlike a different slippery, stateless, asymmetrical, secret tango organization, IS/ISIS/ISIL 1. holds territory 2. has a military organization, and 3. acts like a country.
Why are we not discussing whether or not to declare war on them?
To be fair, I also think we need to admit that in all likelihood, deciding to give the President(s) the authorization to attack anything he thinks is remotely Al-Qaeda related, worldwide, with zero checks and balances via proxy-drone and civilian death; means that there’s a fairly good chance we’ll go down in history as the assholes that started all this shit.

@Ed Jones, what happened to the neutron bomb which the U.S. Had deployed in Europe against Warsaw Pact? It was a “clean” nuke to kill troop concentrations without much other collateral damage or radioactive contamination. Recall the mile long ISIS convoy of Toyota pickups? They could’ve been eliminated easily, but apparently there was and is no “political will”, except to let them come here by way of refugees.

No and no. There was never no such thing, no more than strategic Defense Initiative was. It was a bluff Reagan, not Carter, ran on the Soviets to more quickly bankrupt them with military spending.
The initial salesman (to Reagan) was some guy who wanted the government to invest in pure fusion, not involving radioactives at all. That proved to be a dead end pretty quick, and the final product was fission-fusion bomb that was dirtier — emitted more neutrons — to kill tank crews who had survived the blast and in the end that was determined to be a Rube Goldberg concept too. But it did, possibly, bluff the Soviets into wasting resources for their own bomb and for counter-measures.

Too many Muslims already in France – particularly Paris. Already about 10% of the population is Muslim. Since they have way more kids than the French, it’s just a matter of time.
