FBI figures tweaked to show phony increase in mass shootings

From the stats and data I’ve seen, mass shootings are one of the few crimes that went up stemming from the imposition of government imposed gun-free zones. That also aided and abetted the mass murder at Ft Hood. Our political leadership does not trust our military so starting with the Clinton Administration, every one since has kept them disarmed on their own home bases while they are surrounded by and protected by guns.

James Alan Fox, a professor of criminology, law, and public policy at Northeastern University, agreed that the FBI numbers were being misinterpreted to overstate the incidents and risks of mass shootings. But he blamed the media, not the FBI.

“The media misinterpreted the report,” Fox said. “An active shooter incident is not the same as a mass shooting.”

Change your headline to “It didn’t say.”

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
