I always had a thing for it too but it kind of went away

.327 Federal: The little cartridge that couldn’t. Of course, I am thinking of getting a revolver and it would be introducing a new round into the rotation so either that or .357 would work. But, man, I hate taking on new calibers.

Personally, I’d go with the .357. Then you can add the .38 to the mix as well.

I feel you on the adding a new caliber. I got rid of all my 40s&w guns but still have a dies, brass, and bullets. Somehow ended up with a m1 30 carbine. Almost bought a nagant revolver today but passed because where the heck am i going to find brass and everything else.

The .327 Federal failed because no levergun was ever made for it. Perfect light levergun cartridge, but no gun.

I buy reloading stuff for every new caliber I get into, but I’m still reluctant, especially for handguns. My latest are 300BLK and 6.5 Grendel, but those are both AR. The 300 looks good, but if the 6.5 doesn’t make it, I plan on being able to feed it, anyway. I steer a wide path around .357SIG and such. Ain’t happening.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
