But of course, blaming race-baiting charlatans isn’t in the play book

The NAACP:

These two killings and the life-threatening injury, like so many other unfortunate incidences of gun violence, provide a stark example of the need for sensible gun control measures, and the need to thoughtfully address untreated mental illness.

So, did the killer in NYC have only 7 rounds in his gun in compliance with the law?

The NAACP calling for gun-control to stem Thuglife and criminality is like North Kora blaming the UN for lack of missile-control.

  2. The_Jack Says:

So their solution is to increase the power the NYPD has to disarm black people and punish people who did nothing wrong.

    Gotcha.

  3. Chris from AK Says:

The shooter had ties to (1) Baltimore and (2) NYC.

MD and NY have the strictest gun control in the country. What else do they want?

  4. MJM Says:

    Great question.

  5. Jeff from DC Says:

So when two white fringe whackos go on a shooting spree and kill two cops it is because of harsh tea party rhetoric, but when a black fringe whacko goes on a shooting spree and kills two cops it has nothing to do with harsh anti-cop rhetoric but everything to do with common sense gun measures? Huh?

  6. Bill Twist Says:

To be *COMPLETELY* fair, NYS isn’t enforcing the 7 round rule at all, because a federal court in Western NY has found it to be unconstitutionally arbitrary. You can load that 10 round magazine with 10 rounds.

    For now.

  7. Precision270 Says:

@ Bill that may be true, but NYC has a zero round law to go along with its zero gun law. So the shooting was unpossible. The twits at NAACP once again blame the inanimate object as opposed to seeing their own complicity. Color me surprised, not.

  8. Ron W Says:

The NAACP often refers to “States’ Rights and nullification as “racist” and as hearkening back to slavery. But never to the 1857 SCOTUS Dred Scott decision keeping black people as slaves. In that majority opinion, Chief Justice Roger Taney said that black people should and would not be persons under the Constitution and Bill of Rights lest “they be allowed to carry arms everywhere they went” since he knew that the 2nd Amendment applied to THE PEOPLE. Hence the NAACP supports the chief historical aspect of slavery.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
