Beggars can’t be choosers but thieves can

It’s So Easy to Steal Stuff With Civil Forfeiture That Cops Are Getting Picky

Best way to protect your property from seizure is to have a loan on it. They don’t go after property with a lien since the lien holder gets paid off.

Or so that seemed to be the logic behind the MA attempt to take that motel. They only went after it because the property was owned outright and didn’t have a mortgage.

Set up a trust. Buy the car from your trust with a “loan”, and have the trust as a lien-holder on the title.

Hilarity ensues when the state tries to use civil forfeiture.

Buddy whose uncle was a local cop always talked about all the guns the officer had collected over the years, stating that there were 5 rifles under every bed and every closet had pistols and rifles in them. At least as a thief behind a badge he had his priorities straight.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
