Christie Vetoes Magazine Ban?

This came across the news feed:

Today, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie (R) vetoed A.2006/S.993, sponsored by Assembly Majority Leader Louis Greenwald (D-6) and Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg (D-37). This legislation sought to arbitrarily lower New Jersey’s magazine restriction from fifteen rounds to ten. New Jersey is one of only a handful of states that already has a restriction on the number of rounds permitted.

The link, however, has since disappeared. I thought maybe Christie was changing is gun banning ways. Maybe not.

    Christie is a corpulent pussy.

Doesn’t matter; I still won’t vote for him. “One swallow does not spring make.”

This legislation was originated as a no-win situation for Christie. The ensuing restriction was gravy. No matter which way he went, either veto or sign, he was going to catch flack from one contingent or another.

Expect to hear weeping and wailing and rending of garments from Mommies Seeking Action and Some Towns for More Gun Control any minute now. Probably a “harrumph” from DiFi also.

Link is ok, but the law is still stoopid; he just vetoed making it stoopider. He made some good video taking down some union thugs, but the only way I’d vote for him is if the only alternative was hitlery. Gawd, we’re hosed.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
