Best 45 ACP?

MD Creekmore likes the Glock 41. And Yeager really hates the 1911.

If you want one that’s got a slim single stack profile you can always go with a Kahr.

  2. SPQR Says:

Look … there are issues with the 1911 but really … Yeager? ** face palm **

  3. Jim Scrummy Says:

Love my G21SF. Don’t really see the need to buy a G41, yet. Second handgun I ever shot was an 1911, many moons ago. Still haven’t bought one, yet. Someday I’ll pony up the cash to buy one.

  4. Charlie Foxtrot Says:

    For Fun: SW1911
    For Real: S&W M&P 45

  5. AK™ Says:

First pistol I ever bought was a 1911. The rollmark on the slide was bigger than the gun itself *hint as to manufacturer* 😉

I sold it because OMG ZEE AMMO SCARE! and bought a 12 gauge. Probably better for grizzly bears in my part of Alaska anyways.
The pistol ran fine with whatever I loaded it with.I didn’t even really clean off the shipping grease before I went and shot it.

My brother in law has a Glock 21 and it’s a huge bitch. Not as comfortable to shoot as his Beretta 92FS.

Yeager-the Village idiot of the gun culture.
1911’s may be crap, but I’m not going to take Yeager’s word on it.

  7. Chris Says:

I think Charlie Foxtrot hits the nail on the head.

    I have never fired a S & W M & P, but i have held them and they are ergonomically perfect.

    Ditto for 1911s.

Just the opposite with Glocks (I have and still use Glocks, so I don’t hate them).

  8. Patrick H Says:

    For Fun: 1911, Glock
    For Real: 1911, Glock

    They all work just fine.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
