An ignorant Senator from MA has introduced a bill to ban the sale of handguns that aren’t “personalized”. Trying to go for the old smart gun thing. This technology doesn’t exist in a reliable fashion.

Smart guns may be able to be turned off and made inoperative simply by sending out a special radio signal. If the Colonists had had Smart guns, then the British would have won the Revolutionary war.

Uh, I hope that’s not our main point. So if it DID exist in reliable fashion, you’d be totally cool with letting government mandate the design details of all your weapons.

I think the point is this jackwagon is trying to mandate something that doesn’t exist, much as they banned the Glock7 and such that didn’t exist.
