But. I sure wish the Democrat party did come out against the 2nd Amendment.
Then for sure we would win super majorities in BOTH HOUSES in 2014.

Here’s the thing: the Democrat Progressives can go so far as to amend the Constitution to revoke the 2nd Amendment or to declare self defense not a right.
All that does is mean the US Government is infringing an inalienable, individual right under color of law.
Amending or revoking the right does not destroy it, or somehow remove it from those who recognize their inherent human rights. All it does is make infringement legal under the rule of law.
Which may be why the DemProgs recognize the futility of such an attempt.
