…One of my mom’s parrots, a Nanday conure named “Harley,” seems to have a real affinity for rock and even heavy metal. The bird will literally bang his head and dance to the music…the faster the beat, the better.

I really ought to make a video of him one of these days. Harley seems to have a real affinity for Metallica, although his favorite song – much easier on Mom and Dad’s elderly ears – seems to be Bob Seger’s classic “Old Time Rock And Roll.”
