   Well either Obama and the Chicago machine threatened her or, much more likely IMO, nobody threatened her but this way the NYTimesWashPostCNNABCCBSNBCetc. get to say that she’s afraid of those Teabagging Terrorists.

   Obviously, no one wants to hear what she has to say. If the R really wanted her testimony, she’d had an immunity deal months ago. But, that would risk she says “it was me, and only me”, blowing the case against the administration. The administration can’t be sure she’d say that, or they’d arranged for an immunity deal via DoJ or senate.
   So, we get political theater and no new info.

   I recall Ollie North taking the Fifth, and Rep. Elijah Cummings warning him (on national TV) that making a statement along with taking the Fifth had been ruled by courts as something that could lead him to being compelled to testify.

   My, how times (or at least, whose ox is being gored) have changed.

   As a tax lawyer, seeing the Director of Exempt Organizations taking the 5th is a huge deal.

   I bet that she has a lot to hide and that the conduct goes upstream pretty far.

   Siccing the IRS on someone reminds me of Clinton having the IRS audit Paula Jones.

   The right does not threaten anyone. Assassination and threats are the province of the left. The children in the room.

   I want to hear that her efforts effectively cooked the books on the last election. I would give her immunity as she is not the one we want.

   Course if she talks her life will not be worth a warm bucket of spit. Ask Vince Foster about pissing on the democrats.
