Mayors Against Guns Merges With Moms Demand Action
Meh, they’re all bankrolled by the same few anyway:
Moms will soon join mayors in a push to limit access to illegal firearms, as two high-profile groups reveal plans to merge.
Outgoing New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s Mayors Against Illegal Guns on Thursday will announce that it is joining with Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, a year-old grassroots campaign launched the day after the Dec. 14, 2012, shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.
The combined group will align Bloomberg’s deep pockets with the strong social network and media savvy the mothers’ group brings. The billionaire founder of Bloomberg News said last week that he’ll “devote extensive resources of my own” to the effort.
Except that there is no grassroots and there is no high profile.

Hilarious! That must mean MDAFGSIA is dying, but before it evaporates to great public embarrassment it will ‘merge’ with MAIG.
Why do I think this? Because the same thing happened over 10 years ago with the Million Moms March group. Remember them? Well they evaporated too, and the Brady bunch absorbed them.
Probably the only thing left of MMM and MDAFGSIA is a mailing list and unpaid debts.

Could you imagine NRA and GOA merging? If you ask any random passer-by what the NRA is, I bet you’d find 100% of them know. If you asked them what “Moms Demand Action” was about, I’d bet you get nearly 0% who know.

Limit access to illegal firearms? Firearms are legal here in the US. It’s called the Second Amendment, and it guarantees the individual right to bear arms. What country are these people from? What’s left of Britain?
