Heller 2: The Empire Strikes Back

Dick Heller is challenging DC’s gun laws again. This time, it’s registration. And DC’s rules that basically make owning a gun burdensome.

Registration of guns would violate the 4th Amendment. We have a right to be secure in our persons, houses, papers and effects. Any gun we choose to acquire, keep or carry is a self-defense effect. The 4th Amendment is one which is usually dear to so called liberals, but for citizen disarmament many of them would be ready to throw this one under the bus.

ALL of the Bill of Rights for ALL of us ALL the time!

BTW, Bill of Rights Day is coming soon on Dec 15,(ratification in 1791) but NOTHING will be heard from officialdom or the media, because they despise and fear liberty!

The 4th Amendment, like the others, is only dear to Leftists when they are working towards their utopia and need to hinder real law enforcement (Alinsky Rules, etc). Once in power the 4th Amendment is a dangerous hindrance to good order and law enforcement, so exceptions must be found. It’s the same reason you can complain if you catch a whiff of tobacco smoke from your neighbors apartment, but you can’t if you’re getting a contact high from the medical marijuana smoked by the neighbor on your other side in the same apartment building. Whatever is necessary to prove that people can’t govern themselves. If they can, then the rules have to be changed until “reasonable people” conclude that people can’t be trusted to govern themselves, only the government, composed of people with the magic pixie dust of government power and authority.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
