On the supposed deal to re-open the government

The establishment of both parties use it to poo-poo the tea party. I think that’s what it was about the whole time. My opinion on it, anyhoo. And there not have been a default on the debt had the ceiling not been raised, as a matter of law. Another lie your politicians and the press (but I repeat myself) tell you.

    Exactly my guess.

And the head of one party used in his sound bite today to poo-poo libertarians and bloggers too. Tells you who they’re really afraid of.

Don’t confuse me with facts, I’ve got a BS narrative to shovel, here!

The “default” thing never made sense; tax income was still always greater than debt payments.

The only way to “default” under those circumstances is to decide that Everything Else Was More Important than paying the debt payments.

Which, of course, the lack of a debt ceiling deal in no way required…

They hate it when you can show that the Gov. is useless.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
