Political bias in your smart phone

So, I was typing on the bookface last night when this happened:

bushesfault

Yup, the android keyboard first recommendation after typing Bush’s is fault.

Obama’s in my phone! Or the NSA.

Or statistical suggestion based on Google’s analytics…

I mean, you’ve used “Bush’s Fault” on your own website at least 14 times. I would say for your phone to suggest that is pretty accurate. This should be a post congratulating your phone on a likely suggestion.

Dunno that I’ve typed it on my phone though.

Google’s analytics aren’t limited to your phone, was Steve’s point, I imagine.

  4. SayUncle Says:

I get that and he may be exactly right.

Just as Reagan was a “crazy cowboy whose foreign policy was leading us into nuclear war with the Soviets,” to paraphrase every editorial written about him for 8 or more years, I suspect “Bush’s fault” will be that his opponents demonized him so much that comparing Bush’s two terms to Obama’s will create a backlash stronger than that against Jimmy Carter.

If it signals it time for 2 minutes of hate, we’re doomed.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
