Navy Yard Shooting

The most busted name in news:

AR 15 shot gun

Seen on facebook.

First, it was an AR-15. Then an AR-15 shotgun. And now it’s a someone taking Joe Biden’s advice and using a shotgun. Then he used a shotgun to steel an AR-15. Now, it’s no AR at all.

Then there were up to three shooters. And then there was one.

So, once again, shortly after a major event, the press gets substantially every thing wrong. But wait, there’s more. Including agenda driven politics.

The NY Daily News came out in full force on news that the shooter used an AR-15 to blast, well, the AR-15. Except that the shooter did not use one. He used a shotgun and two handguns. I’m sure the NY Daily Snooze will jump on shotties next.

I dunno that I’d classify noting a consistent pattern of behavior as being a conspiracy. But Robb may need to update the Journalists Guide to Firearms.

If they had their way they’d somehow tie the shotgun to being “just like” the one from Lanza’s trunk, and one of the handguns to be “just like” the one that used to be Zimmermans. Not one of them will make mention that he could be “just like” the president’s son if he had one, but they sure do drool over the fact that he was somehow connected to Texas (while pretty much ignoring his stay in NYC).

They have no shame. Why should facts get in the way? Facts for them are only a convenient start for building a good lie.

I suspect that a few more schizophrenics acting out with firearms might cause significant attention to be paid to mental illness.

What that attention will do to liberalism is not going to be pretty.

  3. joe in houston Says:

Apparently there was one person shot with an AR15…. the spree killer himself.

  4. Samuel Suggs Says:

Or “a shotgun” and one handgun with a spare magazine.

  5. Veeshir Says:

I forget if it was Bill Whittle or Den Beste who said this first, but it’s spot on.

    It’s not a conspiracy, it’s a consensus.

They see someone doing something that advances the cause and the rest jump on the bandwagon.

All you need to do is get it started and the rest pile on.

  6. anon Says:

Note that they initially also gave an incorrect name for the shooter, thereby tarnishing an innocent mans name.

  7. Lyle Says:

Not that a journalist would be aware of it, but there are now AR type shotguns. Just sayin’
