In order to save you, we’re willing to kill you

95 year old man doesn’t want to have surgery. So, the police break in his house, tase him and nail with bean bags. The man died.

What about “my body, my choice”?

I was lucky not to have the police. I had four young and pretty nurses who strapped me down, stripped me naked, gave me a sponge bath, put me in a diaper, and shot me full of sedatives. I was pretty mad, in every sense of the word, at the time. Loking back, I wish I had had the mental wherewithal to enjoy it more. There are guys who actually go looking for that kind of thing and their health insurance doesn’t pay for it like it did with me.

Markie Marxist sez: “They had to kill him to save him! It’s just common communist sense!”

Is “Jack-booted thugs” too strong a term?

The Bến Tre model of health care.
    But of course…

  5. Mu Says:

This wasn’t about surgery – this was strictly a case of “you’re defying our authority”. And no storm trooper worth his salt can accept this.

The staff of the nursing home is claiming that they weren’t allowed in the room once the police arrived, so they’re not responsible. But who called the police there in the first place?

Infuriating story. Coincidently, my dad is 95 and a WWII vet who served in the Army Air Corp in the Pacific. He’s the most stubborn man I know. This story scares the crap outta me.

  8. Lyle Says:

“My Body, My Choice” applies to one thing and one thing only. In all other cases it’s “Your Body, Our Choice”.

“This story scares the crap outta me.”

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
