Quote of the day

Truth: “Organic” is not a diet, it’s a religion.

Actually, there’s more truth at that post than that.

Also, all these anti GMO folks on the bookface seem to have made it a religion.

Jenny McCarthy is the replacement for Hasselback on The View.

I cannot express my disgust strongly enough w/o violating your sensibilities.

  2. Sean Says:

I’m among the most conservative people I know around Seattle, but have a feeling I’d get chased out of TN for being a commie/hippie based on my dietary and gardening habits.

  3. McThag Says:

Motor oil is organic. Legos are organic. Gasoline is organic.

I don’t think you should ingest any of them, but they’re all organic.

  4. Rivrdog Says:

Not only a religion, it is an official marxist “Causus Belli” now, with crops being destroyed, including fields that are not intended for marketing, just testing.

The commie creeps will soon learn that there is much more liklihood of getting killed while doing their mischief out in the boondox than in the citeh…

  5. comatus Says:

People who think that blending three persons’ DNA to make a test-tube embryo is transformative will not eat gene-spliced tomatoes. The kettle gets ever blacker.

  6. Sigivald Says:

Seriously. I am bombarded with “organic wellness” crap pictures all day, and it makes me twitchy.

  7. Rob Crawford Says:

“Organic” means “of or relating to the chemistry of carbon”.

The only inorganic food I’ve found at the store is salt.

  8. A Critic Says:

Actually “organic” means “good enough for government work” which means it’s not good enough for me.

  9. Shootin Buddy Says:

Like the man said, when they stop believing in God, they will believe anything, not nothing.

They bitch because it is a test of their faith.

I was at a yoga party once where a women was outside smoking and bitching about not being able to find organic food at the grocery store. She was standing half a block from the largest farmer’s market in the state.

  10. Michael Says:

Organic is the biggest marketing gimmick in history.

    Seriously, hemlock is organic.

Organic food isn’t healthier, and it isn’t even better for the environment.

    Just more expensive.

It is fundamentally Ludditte. And they call Republicans anti-science.

  11. SDN Says:

Actually, Sean, until you start trying to change the law to force other people to pander to your lifestyle choices, most people where I live wouldn’t give a crap.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
