Apple loses suit against Samsung

We believe the ITC’s final determination has confirmed Apple’s history of free-riding on Samsung’s technological innovations

But the interesting bit is this: The ruling could also be reversed by a US presidential order within 60 days.

Judges? We don’t need no stinking judges.

One Response to “Apple loses suit against Samsung”

  1. Phelps Says:

An ITC judge is barely that. It’s an administrative hearing, with no jury. It’s power is solely limited to whether something can be prohibited from being imported, so that puts it under foreign trade and therefore foreign policy. I don’t have any problem with the President having a veto on that.

And don’t forget, when a jury got a look at these facts, they decided that Samsung was the free-rider, not Apple. (Personally, I think they both steal from each other constantly and patent things that should never have qualified for patent constantly.)

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
