Lets hope, things are not over yet and we still have many battles to fight at the state level.

Things aren’t over yet on the federal level. Unlikely they ever will be.

““Ninety-one percent of the American people support a universal background check, and we’ve got members on the House and Senate side that are gutless,” she said. “They know in their heart of hearts that it’s the absolute right thing to do, but they are more concerned about their reelection.””

How can anyone say such a thing and not realize how much they are contradicting themselves? If 91% of Americans support something, then how could anyone EVER be afraid that voting for it would hurt their re-election chances?
