Well, I mean, the NY cops have to be able to buy them from SOMEBODY.

  2. Cargosquid Says:

According to the comments, the reporter got it wrong. The sale was in Jan and Feb. SAFE went into operation in March.

    Typical layers of oversight.

They don’t want to let the facts get in the way of a “good story” – the story in this case being of course an example of the new law “working”. You’ll see a parade of them over the next while, designed to entrench the law in people’s minds until it’s part of the unrepealable bedrock.

  4. Jeffersonian Says:

    Molon Labe’.

That law wasn’t in efect in January and February.

Journolists are now on the list of “Gov’t agents”.

Would have been pretty easy for the reporter to have checked before publishing the story. But they don’t care about anything that dosen’t advance the agenda.

  6. utf59 Says:

Why did the cops buy from him twice? Why didn’t they just arrest him the first time?

  7. ben Says:

Why didn’t the idiot just sell them on gun broker?

  8. TigerStripe Says:

That blog is from the same newsgroup(?) that put out the map of gun owners in the NYC area. You expect them to get the story right?
