Guns in parks

Knoxville’s ordinance doesn’t allow exemptions for reenactments. In other news, there’s a pirate re-enactment festival?

Arrgh, Matey! Why, don’t you remember the Tale of Black Jack Jack and his Knoxville Raiders?

We have a train robbery re-enactment here in Nashville, so there’s that.

Here in TX, potato guns are outlawed – unless their only use is for pyrotechnic display to make noise and flame. While I cannot testify that my son never took it out to the woods and shot a potato out of the one I made him, I am sure I only ever shot it to make a bang.

Were I thinking piratically, I would investigate the possibility that Knoxville’s city government hasn’t left a similar loophole in their law, big enough to sail a pirate ship loaded with blank-firing guns right on through.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
