Creating terrorists

It’s easier than going after real ones.

Daoud said he wanted to be a jihaddi.

I am glad the FBI contacted him first. Sometimes conspiracy charges are real.

If the evidence reported is correct instead of B.S., it sounds like a fair bust to me.

And yeah, busting this clown who was operating fairly openly was no doubt easier that busting some some deep cover foreign infiltrator. But can you imagine the outcry if the FBI did nothing about small fry if one of them ends up actually committing an act of terrorism?

In fact, it seems the most likely threat from jihadi terrorism is from home-grown lone wolves who reach out to foreign masters, and not from another 9-11 re-run.

it may be that dunder heads like Daoud are the only ones left at this point. sounds pretty straight forward: he shot off his mouth, got monitored, had bait trolled in front of him and he went for it, drove the bomb and tried to activate the bomb. i’m not sure how much more intent he is supposed to have shown before he was arrested.

  4. Lyle Says:

Yeah but remember; we learned during the G.W. Bush years that when we go after real terrorists, we create three new ones for each one we get. So it only makes sense to leave the real ones alone and create fake ones here. That and it’s much easier.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
