Interesting to note is that it wasn’t a PSH piece where ZOMG! GUNS! EVIL! was underlying the narrative. As you like to say, “We’re Winning”, which was evident in the co-anchors comment right at the end where he said “Hey, thats some pretty good looking stuff!” and the gal who did the piece responded with “Its VERY good-looking stuff.”
And part of what didn’t air was when she first came into the shop and she touched on what she would like to talk about, and we went over a few of the holsters, the gun mock-ups, etc…she would *ask* what the proper terminology was for the type of gun (revolver vs. semi-auto) calling it a *magazine* not a *clip*, the differences between Open and Concealed carry, IWB vs OWB, what the acronyms mean, etc.
I’m going to be honest with you…she seemed genuinely interested not only in getting it *right*, but actually learning about it in the process of doing the interview.
In other words, she was being a real *journalist*. She did her craft proud right there.
