No guns at Burning Man

But all those fires and explosives are cool. The Bureau of Land Management has issued a temporary order forbidding weapons there. I’m not certain under which law that is governed but it seems silly to me.

Amusing as guns used to figure prominently there:

It isn’t governed under any law.

The forest service is pulling the same crap whenever the posey sniffers complain about icky gun owners shooting in the woods.

Bush’s Interior secretary had to bitchlap a bunch of Clintonista District Rangers over this crap in 2006.

If someone attending wanted to challenge this, they would win very easily. And get your attorney fees too.

How exactly do the BLM folks know what is in all those vehicles? Magic weapon detectors?

  5. Brad Says:

I read the regs. It’s not as comprehensive as the BLM probably thinks it is.

For example, battleaxes and pikes are perfectly legal!

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
